Dr. Russell Powell
Dr. Russell Powell is a native of the Treasure Valley. He grew up attending school and working in Boise up until his missionary service in southern Mexico where he developed Spanish fluency and a love for Hispanic culture. He returned home and continued his education at Boise State University, during which time he met and married his wife.
Dr. Powell graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with emphasis in Human Biology. He then attended dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. During his time in dental school, he developed a passion for patient relationships and for several facets of dentistry, which led him to pursue a career as a general dentist. Dr. Powell graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and soon afterward returned to Idaho to live and work. He is very happy to serve Caldwell and the surrounding areas through his work at Fairview Dental.
In his free time, Dr. Powell enjoys photography, playing music, being outdoors, and spending time with his wife and their three children.
